The Reverend Dr. Jordan A. Tarwater

The Reverend Dr. Jordan A. Tarwater is the 13th Installed Pastor of Avenue Church NYC. He is committed to leading a church that is reflective of who Jesus is: welcoming, expansive, and compassionate beyond our wildest imagination. 

Jordan received his Doctorate of Ministry in Spiritual Renewal, Contemplative Practice, and Strategic Leadership from Claremont School of Theology and a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Systematic Theology from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York.

Jordan was born and raised in East Tennessee.  He's a big fan of his wife Mary and Tennessee Volunteers football.
