In 2019, the Urban Outreach Center of NYC was granted independent, non-profit status (after being a part of the Jan Hus Presbyterian Church — now Avenue Church NYC — mission for 35 years).
In September 2020, the UOCNYC will operate from its beautiful new 5,000 square foot home in the lower level of our building at 1745 1ST Ave. The UOC will offer mail distribution, clothing, a resource/jobs center and food pantry. Learn more at www.UOCNYC.org and @UOCNYC.
During the COVID-19 crisis, hunger doesn't take a break so neither does UOCNYC.

Starting October, the First Saturday of each month at 10:00 am
Join this growing group of game changers on a rotating schedule of service projects like, cleaning up the East River, preparing lunches for folks who need them most, turning over an Urban Garden... you get the idea.
