Outreach
Serving our City is essential to Avenue Church NYC. We want to help you find new ways to show our neighborhood the love of Jesus.

After being a ministry of Avenue Church NYC for nearly 35 years, the Urban Outreach Center of NYC became an independent neighborhood non-profit in 2019. Our church has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into seeing their mission fulfilled: ending the hunger gap in East Harlem and the Upper East Side. The UOC now serves over 2.5 million meals worth of food to more than 75,000 neighbors each year directly from our church worship space.
With our deep commitment to showing and sharing with our neighbors the love of Jesus, on the first Tuesday of every month, Avenue Church NYC members join together to help prepare and serve the UOC's weekly Community Dinner for 200 food-insecure neighbors.
